True Kid at Heart: Tokyo Disney Sea

Im so glad David and I made the executive decision to buy our tickets to Disney Sea. David has been to a Disney Park before but never to any of the foreign parks. The best thing about Tokyo Disney Sea is that it is so easy to get to. They have their own designated stop on the local train system. However, you do have to transfer onto a special Disney tram that will take you to ALL of the Lands. You can most definitely use your Suica Card to ride the train but because I love love love souvenirs I bought a special Tokyo Disney Sea Ticket! It was a bit rainy the day we went but we still made the most of it. When you get into the park, you will see the Volcano from the Journey to the Center of the Earth (Super fun!!) Of course this is one of the best locations to have your initial pictures taken at the park.
When you start to walk throughout the park you’ll notice the different SEAS. You have the Mediterranean Harbor, American Waterfront, Port Discovery, Lost River Delta, Arabian Coast, Mermaid Lagoon, and Mysterious Island. Each having their own set of food, themes and of course attractions. We didn’t spend much of the day at Disney Sea because David and I weren’t feeling well but, while we were there we rode the Raging Spirit and the Indiana Jones ride in the Lost River Delta, ate some delicious curry flavored popcorn and Tiger Tail in the Arabian Coast. Survived whiplash from Aquatopia in Port Discovery and Enjoyed a ride on the Electric Railway in the American Water front. My favorite snack would be the little alien mochi filled with vanilla, strawberry or chocolate crème cheese in the front of the main entrance. Just an FYI… DO NOT GO TO TURTLE TALK UNLESS YOU KNOW JAPANESE! Luckily I do know Japanese but I spent 10 minutes after the show explaining to David what was going on. However, the little kids who responded were so adorably cute!
If you are planning on going to Tokyo Disney, plan for the whole day and HYDRATE! Bring a lot of Yen especially if you are a foodie like I am. If you aren’t a fan of rides, the park has so many things to sea that you can simply enjoy the day walking haha. If you love photos, there are MULTIPLE picture locations with great scenery. Oh and lastly, if you’re into Duffy, He’s there! J
